i have a wireless router. i have a gateway laptop and an hp printer. what do i have to do to set it up or buy something?

Go to Printers in Control Panel on your Home Computer.
Right Click your printer
Click on Sharing Tab & Select Sharing
On your laptop *IF* it doesn't show the printer...
Go to Comtrol Panel, then Double Click Printers
Then Click on Add Printers and selcet your Home Computer's priner.
I share my 1 printer with 3 desktops and 3 laptops on a wirelsss network

If your printer is network capable, you can assign it an IP address, then install the printer on your laptop using the address.

You can get a USB or Parallel cable to put into your printer and then into your computer. It's easier to install it with the cable than installing the printer over the network wirelessly.

create a small home network, type /use help and you will find a way..
