The perimeter of a rectangle is 340 cm. The length is 20 more than twice the width of the rectangle. Find the perimeter!!!

The answer 340 cm. You gave the answer in the question. If you are looking for the lengths it is 120 cm long and 50 cm wide
The formula to find the lengths of the side is as follows:
P= 2L + 2W
P= 2 (2w +20) + 2W -- you said that the length is 2 times the width plus 20
P= 4W +40 + 2W
P=6w + 40
340 = 6w + 40
300 = 6w
w = 50 so then if 50 is w then 120 is the length
2(120) + 2(50) = 240 + 100 =340 your perimeter

I know I probably did too much but I'm bored so its ok!! lol
