I did leave my job in December. I had not been happy for a year.
I had an evil "bully" boss and no real back up plan in place.
I just left. So unlike myself. I had an opportunity to do some sales from home so it kind of all fell in to place. Sometimes you just have to take risks or get so low it can only get better?
Now I work from home around "me" - and am building my own team - kel@h-power.us
I couldn't be happier to work when I want from home.
I think everyone should be happy at a job. You are there a good % of the day.
I have left someone who failed to make me happy. I was staying with him because I was lonely but after so much "crap", enough.
It lead to better things. I met my husband and have three wonderful kids. It's not always easy but we have a solid marriage.
Meaning it's better today then likely when we married. ?
Again ask yourself if you are truly happy and list the postive/negative things about the person. If the positive outweigh the negative things are good.
What do you want out of life? Are you crossing off the things you want or close to obtaining your own goals. Job, love, etc?

If it was a good job (No) it may look greener across the fence but 9 times out of 10 it is not. Problems at home are probably effecting your job.I am sort of going thru the same thing. Life is short you will have to decide if you want to be miserable or tkae a chance and be happy. Good Luck

What you are talking about is temporary happiness. Things and circumstances don't make or break your happiness. Happiness is a decision you come up with everyday to either be happy or not, be positive or negative. You choose to smile or frown. But I believe that there is inner happiness that comes from faith as well and the more you get to know God's will for your life, the happier you are. Thats just me though.

Happiness is a fleeting thing, and is pretty much impossible to keep for long. I don't want to waste precious time looking for happiness, I try to find peace and joy. Jesus is the only one who gives true peace and joy. Not everyone agrees with that, and I understand, but I have faith in Jesus and I know that he is the only person worth chasing after, he's the only one worth trusting and loving. If you find him, you won't care about being happy, nothing of this world will be as important. I hope you find him. God bless.

I would not limit myself in the things I do to be happy. You just have to know what makes you happy. Personally having my bills totally paid makes me quite happy. If my jobs sucks I'll find another way or lower my bills.

I would leave my man to be happy. So many times we as female hear that having someone in your life will make you happy, but learned that sometimes that's the thing that brings you so much pain.

I would definitley leave a job, but not a commited relationship. Personal happiness is important but not when it tears families apart.

NO - you are thinking that outside influences make you happy - THEY DON'T! The only person that makes you happy is you.
You have to change your attitude from negative to positive and radiate that out to the world. You get happiness back if you give it out.
Changing your relationship, your job, your exercise routine, your diet, is not necessary. Changing you INNER SELF is necessary, however.

You cant just quit a job if that is the only thing paying your bills unless you have a backup plan or job.
And you should not divorce anyone...the bible says not to.
