Well thats funny you should ask because i just started an ebay account on jan 16 th of this year and so far so good. I sell sports cards non sports cards clothing collectibles and toys. This is march 6th i think and today i made my 54th sale and have made about $1,000 so far. Let me give you some advice theres a lot of competition on ebay and realize that a lot of your stuff may have to be ran through the auction a few times before it sells. But dont get frustrated if it doesnt sell just list something different for a while. Also ill add as far as selling worldwide i dont bother with that i stick with the u s market because the worldwide selling is just too much hassle. Oh yeah and always offer a money back if not satisfied policy or you wont get far.

do what you love the money will follow. If you have a passion for baseball cards, open an Ebay store selling sports memorabilia. If dogs are your thing, for example, try pet supplies. noone can predict what ebay business will take off - therefore you should just do what you love and have an interest in. Good luck!!
