Believe it or not, it's because of their insecurity. They are worried that they will be looked down upon by their friends. A guy that is mature will not do that to his gf, because he cares more about her feelings.

because boys who act this way are immature for if they weren't they'd realize that their friends usually would take their place and have a g/f in a heart beat instead they try to act like they don't really like the girl.get some one mature.

This never ends either. It's a guy (male bonding, gotta be macho crap) it's never going to end no matter how old they are unfortunately... the reason for it would be beyond me.
