Well someone i know is getting something cut out of her cervix so it doesn't tun cancerous. After the operation, whats the likely hood of her getting cancer?

This is a question that only her physician is truly qualified to answer - or at least a physician who knows the true nature of the "something" that is being cut out. If they are able to remove the entire portion of whatever is being removed, the likelihood of a recurrence will be much less than it would be if something is left behind.

MY MOTHER HAD THE SAME THING DONE.SHE HAS HAD CERVICAL CANCER FOR 10 YEARS,SHE'S IN REMISSION.BUT IT COULD GO EITHER WAY.MY MOMS GOT WORSE HAVE HER OR YOU TO DO MAJOR RE SHER ON THE PROCEDURE BE FOR SHE HAS IT.THEIR PROBABLY TAKING SOME OF HER CIVICS OUT TO PREVENT IT FROM GETTING WORSE,LIKE U SAID.STILL PLEASE HAVE HER YO CHECK OUT AS MANY DIFF RENT WAYS THAT THINGS CAN BE DONE FOR THIS TYPE OF SICKNESS,TRY BAPTIST HOSPITAL IN WINSTON SALEM N.C. THEY HAVE SOME OF THE BEST DOCTORS AROUND.
