i prefer escalators because if they get stuck you just walk up them. in a elevator your screwed!

Stairs. Unless it's at least 3 or 4 floors, and then I'll take the elevator. Escalators are too slow, unless I can walk up, but I always get stuck behind a lady with 5 bags. Same thing with moving sidewalks.

I would take the stairs. I am too paranoid if I took the elevator the cable might snap & I would plummet to my death, and if I took the escalator my shoelaces might get caught at the top or bottom where the step goes underneath & rip my feet off. Better yet, you know what, I think I will just stay right here on the ground.

Depends on the store/ building. If I can see something intresting from the escilator, then escilator. In the same situation, if the elevator is clear, I'll take it. However, I do like the little swooping motion the elevator makes when it starts off and stopps, so elevator gets my vote.

the step onto the escalator, is the only reason i would prefer the elevator, and the nasty hand rail that is on the escalator.

Both.I did have an accident in an escalator once at a well known store.You have to be very careful with those escalators.Especially if there's ignorant people in front of you.It was caught on tape,so they gave me a lump sum.

Escalator for a couple of reasons. If it breaks you can still go. If someone snuffies you don't have to just stand and sniff. Also, with escalators you can make fun of the people going the other way

That's a tough one, Think about these facts as you process your answer.
In an elevator you are in a tiny box and if someone farts you're stuck in there with it.
On an escalator you could potentially have someone's *** right in your face and what if they fart?

Escalator...im a little claustrophobic. That and i like sliding down the middle, or trying to run up the down...i almost made it once, but then i fell at the top and skinned my knee...Boy was my face red!!!

escalator, at least when i trip on that first step, i will not be taking an expressvator straight to the bottom floor.
