yes i HAVE tried the tools/internet options/etc, and even tried to add it to my sites. don't know what the heck I did wrong

security tab in IE options, click internet and select custom level, all the activex controls are in there...

Go to top tool bar, on Tool, then InternetExplorer,then Security and Custom, Pick your security level such as "medium" then hit the box :"reset' Or you can set them individually.

Remember, ActiveX is only used with Windows Internet Explorer. The MozillaFirefox Browser uses no active x.
