Propaganda is the activity of spreading particular ideas, opinions etc according to an organized plan.
Propagandists use a variety of propaganda techniques to influence opinions and to avoid the truth. Often these techniques rely on some element of censorship or manipulation, either omitting significant information or distorting it.
Think of all that you have heard over the last month on the news and see if any of it was manipulated or distorted. Media news often distorts things to make them fit whatever the plan is for them at that moment.
Now think about the Presidential candidates and the things they seem to omit. This is all a form of propaganda and we see it daily.
See if you can think of some more ways we are exposed to propaganda during the day.
