Well, at school i am like a social reject. In my tutor group anyway. Usually i am completley ignored, but if girls feel like having a laugh or pulling a prank they'll do it on me. It's like i have a sign on my head saying "hey i don't care, i have no feelings, come laugh about me!" I'm not that ugly i don't think! The thing is i can't stand up for myself. girls in my year (year 9, were 13 +14) have boyfriends and do drugs and get drunk and im like "hang on wait a sec were 14 don't screw up your life now!" i try to kill them with kindness, like if they need help, or need to borrow some money for lunch, ill give it to 'em. And if thier on thier own thier not to bad, but when they're together thier all giggles and stuff! And i'm like... what is thier to laugh about!? Please help guys!

Sooner or later, you will have to stand up for yourself. That isn't quite as bad or, really, not that hard. You will gain some respect from them AND for yourself. If you get teased, tease back. If you get shoved, shove back. They will either like you more, or maybe less. If it's less, you needed some new friends anyway. Think up some good one liner comebacks and mild put-downs and give it back to them when they start on you. A good funny line can work wonders sometimes. Don't lose your sense of humor or your pride. They may be picking on you because you might be prettier than one or most of them. Stay the course. People your age truly are too young to drink and get high and you have a lot to be proud of. Don't let them drag you down to someplace you won't like. Be better than them. Do the right thing. Watch and observe what happens to them. Stop and really think about what could happen if you get caught doing dumb things. It's not worth it. Enjoy your youth. Don't waste it away, be somebody. Only you can help yourself.

Girls from the ages of 13 - 16 are horrible, vicious, maniacal creatures. Especially when they hunt in packs. Don't conform to their idiotic behavior just to fit in. The girls that move way to fast in life, end up with reputations, and being hated later on in life by people who once adored them. And for Christ's sake, don't be a pushover for them either. Next time they start giggling, ask them what their damage is? A bully is only a bully if they have someone they can make fee small and worthless, and usually if you confront them on their crap, they back down right away. Find a new group of girls to hang out with...remember, there's strength in numbers.

I had a similar problem, and took the 'head in sand' approach. I do not reccomend this, as, whilst the cows have left me in relative peace, I have a grand total of ZERO friends in my class and an inability to talk to any of them, because I don't know them and am very shy.

OK.

1) These girls want to [insert obscenity] their lives up.
2) Leave them to it. They're not your friends.
3) Don't give them money or anything. They're taking advantage of you!
4) Blackmail wont work. Trust me.
5) Smile
6) They are not worth your time so don't bother making friends with them.
7) They'll stab you in the back if you do.
8) Head in sand does not work.

PS. I am sure you're not ugly
PPS. They're just infantile.

You are on the RIGHT path...don't do anything that you know in your heart is bad. These girls have no respect for you. Do NOT give them lunch money, etc after they treat you that way. You have to learn to SPEAK UP to them and look them straight in the eye when they do something you don't like. It is hard at first but you'll get the hang of it.

Ouch! First off, you seem smart and articulate and that says a lot. I wish there was some simple answer but there will always be people who take advantage and enjoy other people's pain.

The best revenge is always to "live well". Go you own way and believe it or not much of what people do to you is out of pure envy.

All my life I've had a lot of acquaintances but only a couple of really good friends. I like it that way.

sounds like you are way better than the girls who are giving you a hard time. if you have other friends , hang out with them and ignore these losers! stop trying to help them and dont let them use you for lunch money and the like. when they give you a hard time, simply tell them you dont appreciate their comments or ignore them completely
