It has gas, and the heater and radio work. But I get no response from the engine when I crank it. Anyone know what's wrong?

The engine needs the ommand to fire up. Depending on what sounds (if any) the car is making, is might be the starter, alternator or collunoid. Also, just because the radio comes on, it could be the battery does not have enough power to crank up the car.
Get the battery tested first and then the alternator. If both of those are ok, you might have to go to a repair shop for the other possiblities.

Do these
1. turn on lights
2. crank (or turn key to crank)
Do lights go out or dim

YES Battery and charging system needs to be checked

NO The starter or Electrical system has issues, I would put my money on the Starter.
