umm...yes, but i believe that there is bliss and absolute bliss. Ignorance can only give you bliss, but through it, you can never achieve absolute bliss. If you are aware of the world, and it is good, and you are in control, then you may achieve earthly (versus heavenly) absolute bliss. It far transcends blissful ignorance.

Bliss occurs in ignorance or in knowledge or without these. This is a state of mind achieved by touching on the information loop in the subatomic level....the infinite ...
This happens not because we acquire a lot of information in that level but because we come to experience the flow of pure love from the source that constantly creates from that level...
The misconception is that intellectual knowledge is the same as
intuitional knowledge. Intuitional knowledge is what i will call ignorance that can take you to bliss, only because when you
have that, you are ignorant of dualities but is very cognizant of oneness of all creation, that is bliss.

Only the lack of desire linked to ignorance. Then there is contact, then desire for the object contacted, then stress when the object is lost or unattained, then relief when desire for the object is overcome, and lastly release when one realizes the object never existed.

Thus BLISS is at the other end of the rainbow that starts with IGNORANCE and ends in WISDOM.

There are many variables to this, as many people who are ignorant are very different people. But, I belive that ignorance is actually for people who are unhappy or foolish, as they choose not to be open minded, and when they are told to be small minded they refuse to even accept it and try to improve, they simply dissmiss you as worng and them as right, and then, knowing that they are worng, they become sadder as things come into realization.

so ignorance is not bliss, but a vicious circle of stupidity and sadness.
