I think there are only two views on abortion. One view is totally against it and one believes it is the woman's right to choose. I honestly don't think there is a grey area on this subject.

I think that few people stop to think of the emotional ramifications an abortion will have on a woman down the road. My best friend had an abortion 3 years ago, and she still has great regrets and anger with herself for what she did -- even though she felt it was the right choice then. Ask yourself if you're prepared for possible guilt and second-guessing for the rest of your life? Also, abortion can pose many a health concern. Now my friend is trying to get pregnant with her husband. She has been unable to conceive so far and her ob/gyn has confirmed that part of the reason is because of scar tissue in her uterus from the abortion. Now she feels as though she threw away the opportunity to have a child and may never get that opportunity again.

I think girls who have abortions are just taking the easy way out...Its an easy form of birth control nowdays and its just disgusting. Less than 5% of abortions are because of rape,incest or any other kind of foul play which is not the womans fault so for the millions that have abortions everyday,what about those people? The way abortions are done is awful and torture for the baby,selfish girls out there hat dont wanna keep there legs closed and have abortions then boom right after the abortions they go on to have more and more unprotected sex and then voila!! the next pregnancy they keep..doesnt make sense...These girls need to step up and be mature about there mistakes...

There's also some corelationary data that shows how the crime rate has decreased as the Roe vs. Wade generation grew to the age of majority. The researcher's hypothesis is that with less impoverished, unwanted children in the world there are less criminals with crappy childhoods in the future.

I think abortion should be an option to women if they do not feel that they will be able to care for the child and are not willing to consider adoption. However, they should be educated on the procedure and receive counseling before and after the abortion.

Well my view on abortion is no one should get an abortion unless it is for medical reasons or rape. If someone doesnt want a baby, I would suggest not having sex ( at least not unprotected). Thats my view.

to me I think it is up to the women if she wants one, there are alot of reasons why someone should or shouldn't. If a person got raped and got pregnant, that's her choice if she wants and abortion. and everyone has their own Ideas and beliefs which is good. but they shouldn't judge others who have abortion unless they know the circumstances behind it. but that is my opinion.

I disagree with Krista.
I can't make up my mind on the issue, on the one hand I look at the fact htat it is an actual baby growing inside and killing it is cruel, but on the other hand if someone is not ready to have a baby and they are not going to be a very good mum then perhaps it is better for the child to not live...Especially when you consider overpopulation and pollution and such...
I can't decide.
