My Friends and I are going on a road trip (starting in St Louis, MO), where would be the most fun to visit?

We don't know what exactly we are looking for, maybe a place where there is a lake/beach of some sort, but doesn't have to be. However, it will only be a 4 or 5 day trip including drive time (long weekend trip) so it can't be too terribly far from STL.

CHICAGO!!! close to home, but fun fun fun...plus there are so many museums and stuff to see, there is also a beach (lake michigan) and cool shopping. You cant go wrong there!
