Are 19 inch thighs fat?

Question

I'm 13 years old and I'm just wondering if that is considered a fat thigh in circumference. I just measure a little past my groin. Though, I do a lot of sports, so would muscle make my thighs look bigger? thanks I'm really self conscience about my thighs.

sweety I'd love to have thigh that size....and yes certain sprots such as biking can increase the size of your thighs, but at your age don't worry about it....you're still growing and you will eventually grow into a beautiful person.!!!! Be happy with yourself

Muscle would tend to make your thighs larger. The size of your thighs alone is not a determining factor. The determining factor is how are they in proportion to the rest of your body. Usually the hips are a give away in overweight thighs. If your hips aren't over sized, your thighs probably aren't.

You are too young to be obsessing over the size of your thighs, sweetheart. If you begin to appreciate yourself and love the body that God gave you, life will be that much easier. You have a lifetime of trying to define WHO you are and its not going to have anything to do with your thighs. Don't measure yourself at this stage in your life, you're still growing.

As long as they are proportionate with the rest of your body and most made of lean muscle tissue and not excess fat, you are good to go girl. But, you should love yourself for what you are not for how you look. There are so many good looking, skinny, lean girls out there with no self esteem and just 2 cents of brain...
