How can i help my boyfriend please help???
Can i do anything about my partners low sex drive?
my partner and i have been together for just over a six, and in almost every area our relationship is perfect. Unfortunately we have very different sex drives. I have a high sex drive and my partner doesnt. as a result the amount of sex we have has gradually decreased over the past year.

Its got to the point now where i feel guilty for wanting to have sex at all. my partner works long hours, and as a result is very tired. we also have a 3 year old little boy

I just dont know what to do anymore. i feel like i am constantly compromising my wants. i find that i feel very insecure and frustrated as well as rejected if i make a move on him and he is too tired. how do i deal with these feelings, is there anything i can do to either reduce my own sex drive or to increase my boyfriends? im getting desperate!!!
I also have a full time job and we are only 25 i love him

Me and my husband were the same we run a pub so long hours. To bring back a bit of fun i made a star chart silly as it sounds it worked when he was good he got good things if you know what i mean when he was bad he had a star taken away sounds really silly it made us laugh he quite looked forward to it it was and still is a fun way to keep him interested men are like kids. 3 yrs on still got our chart and you can change it as you wish make it work to your advantage mine washes up and all sorts for his points.

"my partner works long hours, and as a result it very tired"- there's your answer. If you were really tired all the time, your sex drive would be lower as well. If it's really affecting your relationship, maybe he could cut back on hours, or maybe you guys could take a weekend vacation or something away from your little boy.

Otherwise, cut him a break! He's trying to support you and your kid and you said he's perfect in every other way.

The question when it comes down to it is does he still love you?I hope he still does. Most importantly communication must precede the sex.Ask him if he wants to take some time with you to do something.Just the two of you.Hopefully you can find a babysitter.Remember to do certain things to rekindle the sensuality that i'm sure was present at the beginning.Kiss him.Wear his favorite lingerie or do that provocative dance that he likes.Have some wine to loosen both of you up.But remember to have fun and some foreplay and the sex will follow.

I'd suggest going to the doctor to get a few tests done to rule out any lurking nasties that might compromise his health.

To get the pressure of sex off him and to release your own frustration, I suggest getting a vibrator - I know it's not the same as making love to your man but at least you will let off a bit of steam. Just make sure you put it away where your little kid won't find it.

What kind of food does he eat? Try and ensure he gets plenty of vitamins naturally in his diet Ie fresh veg and fruit, choose foods that provide a lot of protein and some carbohydrates to increase his energy throughout the day. Because after a hard days work he could be just running on empty when he gets home.

Why don't you buy a vibrator this will at least help you on his tired days.

Have you tried talking to him ? Another idea would be to get a baby sitter and the two of you spend a romantic night in together. Try dressing up to intise him?

Hello Hun

Sorry to hear that you are having this problem. Firstly he is under any strain, financial or otherwise? He may be worrying about stuff that is causing him stress.

Check out this website for diet http://www.libido-increasing-food.com/

And also, have you told him how you feel? Just tell him the words that you wrote in this question!

Good Luck
xx

At your ages, it sounds like he may be getting it elsewhere. Sorry to have to say this, but a male of 25 is very highly sexed and has to get it from somewhere. I would say that he is very satisfied sexually from elsewhere and doesn't need you. Sorry darlin' but open your eyes.

Get him to have a check up with his GP, he might be anaemic if he's tired all the time.
