Although I avoid the bars (believe it or not, I'm shy), my favorite here in Southern California is Pistons (Long Beach). It's a bear/levi/leather bar.

There aren't any local gay bars around here. I have to travel about two hours to find one, but I pass so many malls I never seem to wind up getting there.

I went to Remington's in DC a couple times. They play country music, and I even took a one night line dance class there
