Before a woman marries, it should be her father making them for her and when she marries, it is to be her husband while she is married. Therfore, I am thinking she should be able to make her own decisions when she is either widowed or her husband puts her away and gives her a certificate of divorce. Ofcourse, if she gets married again, her new husband will take over that responsibility. What do you all think?

I think when a woman is legally an adult, she should be able to make her own decisions!

Before 18 her parents make the decisions at 18 she is free to make all of her own decisions. When she marries the husband and wife make decisions TOGETHER. I think you are a chauvinist pig!

Go back to the 1500s. Think about it would you want to be bossed around by your spouse or your mom for your entire life? I don't think so. Women have just as many rights as men and should never have to listen to them or her father all the time. Yeah thats just offensive.

thats right, let the men folk support her, but it better be in grand fashion, not no second hand stores and hope there is a porsch out in the drive way, plus the van to haul the kids to band pratice, tap lesson's plus other school function's and to prove his ever lasting love a big huge life insurance policy

i think a woman should make the desicions on her own..becuase then that way she can learn from them and know not to do that again while if she is being told to do something she's not really learning from mistakes because she will just listen to the person who told her to do it in the first place.
