What are some good Electronica artists?

Not the biggest fan of trance, something along the lines of hardcore/ speedcore/ jungle/ gabba / drill n bass etc

and possibly what are some good record stores to goto to find those artists(I live fairly close to Manhattan so I'm thinking somewhere around there would be best?)

the most respected DJ for hard techno has to be Carl Cox

the hardest i normally listen to is a really famous DJ named Scot Project

but if you want speedcore you want Rob Gee for sure
