the cops might thought you were pretty. that happened to a friend of mind she was making out in the car with her boyfriend and the cops got them out and grabbed on her trying to "find a weapon" she was only in her underwear. they can't search you or something of yours without a warrant unless your in a airport. no point trying to stop them they'll just haul you off to jail for resistance or some bull like that. i'm sorry that happened to you.

When you enter a mass transit vehicle or station, you are not driving your own car.. you are in a pay-per-use vehicle in which you forfeit certain rights including the right to privacy. If you don't like it, take a taxi.
The next answer is superb.. kudos to the Bush Administration

They searched your bag because you are a terrorist...oh wait no you're not. They searched your bag because civil liberties and personal rights and freedoms don't mean anything to the Bush administration and they would rather waste time and money searching your bag rather than reevaluating our foreign policy which is why there are terrorists in the first place. Oh no i can't type anymore... men in black suits are coming to take me to Guantanamo Bay!

They can search you at will and this is because Bush is taking away our rights. That's what we get for voting in such an idiot for another term. And the cops probably stopped you to search you because you're a pretty girl. Vote Democrat.
