You can't realy tell, but your doctor can feel your tummy to see where all the body parts are!!!

Your baby could still be moving all around. I am 35 weeks now and my baby has been head down for a couple of weeks now and the way I can tell is that most of the movement happens above my belly button and alot near my ribs (she quite often sticks a foot under and that hurts like crazy!!). The odd time I feels some flutters down low, but they are probably her hands or arms moving around. My doctor also told me that she is head down, but not dropped.

That 'big round shape' could be the baby's head, or it's butt, or it's back ... and you can 'tell' if your baby has turned 'head down' if you 'stand quietly' while the baby is moving and can 'learn to feel' the difference between a 'kick' (foot) and a 'shove' (hand) and the 'head bumping against' a part of you. Most babies are 'head down' through the whole pregnancy ... while others may be 'head up' until right before the start of 'real labor' ... so 'learn about what your baby is doing' early and 'check it often' ... and the baby will seem to 'totally stop moving' for a day or more about one to two weeks before 'real labor' starts, which is 'worrisome' at first ... and if your baby is not 'head down' the doctor may give you medicine and 'turn it head down' before real labor starts ...

If this is your first, it may be harder for you to tell by yourself at first. Your doctor can tell you for sure, usually when he/she listens to the heartbeat. Also the ultrasound gives you a clear picture of where the baby is at. Personally, my baby has been upside down for the last couple months and he'll probably stay that way until I give birth in May. I can feel his butt sticking out most of the time, around my belly button or just above. Don't be afraid to push on your belly and feel where things are at, you won't hurt the baby, and it's kinda fun ;)

My doctor told me that you start eating more frequently and going to the bathroom way more. It kinda looks like your belly almost is going to drop off.
