I want to buy a new laptop and my budget is $2500. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I love to play video games but i need a pc that is good at everything from writing papers to playing games, and it has to be fast <3

Do not listen to iKill, as Dell are garbage. He recommended the Inspiron line which is only good for occasion use. If you are going to be using your laptop a lot (heavy use), then you will want good reliability. Dell may give you good pricing, but reliable is not in their vocabulary. Why else do you think Michael Dell came out of retirement this year? The best laptops on the market today, are built by IBM/Lenovo and Apple, no one else comes close to matching their quality. I would take anything posted on CNET with a grain of salt, as they seem to give everyone they review the same rating (they do not want to offend advertisers, and risk losing their money). Check the links below for less biased reviews. The second link are consumers experiences with Dell.

I would probably go with a Sony VAIO.

If you play a lot of games, you might want to look into an Alienware though.

the dell e1505, its cheap, fast, and good. i have one, and i love it. and it was only $1200, isent that tight? and i play quake four in highest gfx. it's voted the best laptop by cnet.
