i use windows xp, i put my memory card into the slot in my computer. a green light came on but nothing came up on my screen. my question is how do i find the memory card on my computer? and can i even do anything with it once i do?

If you have a card reader built into your computer, it may always show up in My Computer as a removable drive, such as F:. When you have no card in, the computer will tell you to insert a card. When the card is in, you should just be able to browse it by going to that removable drive.

if by memory card you mean the thing you plug into the usb port, all you have to do is go to my computer and there should be an icon that says usb mass storage device or the brand of storage device that you have pluged in.

simply go to my computer and select the removable drive, if your not sure which one it is pull out card while in my computer and it will dissappear, push it back in and it will reappear
