Chel,,,no 32 bit with that setup.

You'll have to add a separate video card.

Many PC's made with that chipset don't have an AGP SLOT graphics port.

SOME do.

In any case,,,
You'll have either,,ONLY a PCI slot,, or a both PCI and an AGP Graphics Slot.

You can get decent video cards for under $50.
$30~60 range,,,prices vary almost daily:)

NOT Latest Greatest Vid Card of course,,,
But lots better than what you have now,,,and capable of doing 32bit color.

You'll need to know what type of slots you have available.
AGP is the Later-Tech,,and much better graphics performance.

Hope that helps

Nearly all graphics cards these days will do at least a 32 bit colour resolution at 800x600 and 1024x768. If your system is over 12 years old, it may not do that, and the likelyhood of it displaying 32bit is better after the year 2000, where 32MB graphic cards will display 1280x1024 32Bit Colour @ 60Hz

Likely to be yes, along you have the drivers, which XP should have (dont ask me about Vista - it is crap at the moment)

The $5 cable-variety adapter (has vga at one end and rca or svideo at the different) needs a video card with "television out through vga" or it */wont/* artwork. If the video card does no longer have television out through vga then you definately favor to get a vga-television converter field. (prices quite so a lot more suitable than the cable adapter besides the undeniable fact that it is going to artwork) - likely about $30-$40 - an identical cost as a cheap video card with s-video out Sorry yet I cant inform you if the 3200 has television out, yet you'll see an decision in Catalyst administration Centre if the driving force/hardware helps it.

Hi

Reduce the desktop screen resolution and color depth to 640x480 and High Color (16 bit) color depth in Display Properties. Many games will attempt to switch to this particular screen resolution and color depth when loading. Switching to this mode manually can help to determine if the issue is with switching video modes or with loading the game. Additionally, some OpenGL* games will attempt to run at the current desktop color depth. Some graphics adapters do not support 3D acceleration at higher than 16-bit color depth, so they will not be able to use OpenGL 3D acceleration at true color (24-bit or 32-bit color depth).

Make sure you have directx 9.0c installed also. Sometimes not having this installed will cause you to not be able to get 32bit graphics. Go to start, then run, and type in:

dxdiag

If nothing comes up then you need to get directx9.0c here. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=0A9B6820-BFBB-4799-9908-D418CDEAC197&displaylang=en
