and read the answers to your own questions and give them thumbs ups? I do the only thing I don't do is give thumbs downs.

I enjoy reading the answers to all my questions. And I give thumbs up to answers I like and thumbs down to those I don't.

Yea I give thumbs up most of the time. I don't like thumbs downing. I mean its the persons opinion.

It is perfectly valid to thumbs up or down the answers you receive on a question you ask. You alone are the arbiter of how well the question was answered. Feel free to thumbs down the pointless answers like:
"idk"
"thanks for the two points"
"i love your avatar"
etc.

I do, and I give thumbs down because it is easier to eliminate which ones shouldn't be best answer.
