I've been a working actor for 20 years. Check out the answers you got from Beth and Ana. Your best bet is to get some community theatre experience under your belt. You'll find out if you're good enough to continue, and if you really love it enough to give up everything else to make it happen. You don't have to have money, you have to have talent, commitment, and total focus on making a career for yourself. Best of luck to you!

First of all, DO NOT send your picture and info to people on the intrnet unless you KNOW theyr'e legit, please! That means find out who they work for, and look them up online or call their company first to find out if the person actually works there!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE young ladies, I cannot stress this enough. I'm not targeting anyone in particular, the gentleman above could be totally legitamite, but be careful.
NOW, here's what you do.. Take an acting class at your nearby community college. It's inexpensive, and most of them have scholarships. You can even offer to volunteer there to pay for your classes, (Try to make an appt with the head of the drama dept. to discuss this, not with admissions or the Dean.) Have your teacher help you prepare a monologue. Get a friend or someone at the photography dept at your school or the community college to take a headshot, (Just a black and white 8'x10' photo of your face). After youv'e done all this, start auditioning for the theatrical productions at the college, or your school. You can also audition for community theater, (Small usually non-profit public theaters). It's alot of work, but you can do it! I wish you all the luck in the world.

Everyone thinks they have a lot of talent, but are often times proved wrong. I know that sounds mean, but just wait until you get into the business. The only way to really get your self discovered and see what you're truly made of is to put yourself out there. Looking at the history of some of the greatest stars will prove that being poor shouldn't stop you from becoming famous if you really have what it takes. Craigslist.com lists a lot of gigs where they need actors/models. You can certainly try there if it pertains to your location.

See if you can get involved with a local community theatre. You can learn a lot there. Do your best in school, and get good grades, in the hope that you can get a scholarship to a good university with a solid theatre department.
Talent is good. Talent is like having all the groceries for a gourmet meal, but you now have to learn how to cook!
Good luck.

Only an industry professional can determine if you have a lot of talent.
Join the drama department at your school.
When you graduate, go to college and major in Theatre.
After that, go to graduate school and get a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre.

When it comes to acting you really don't need much money!
Start looking for small community theaters, (you can do that online), and see if any of the schools near you have programs for beginners.
As long as you can get to the theater, you'll have no problems.
Good luck!

Go for a scholarship. From the looks of it, it won't be in English, but possibly a theater one.
