When I say my friend likes a guy, I REALLY DO mean my friend, and not myself. Anyway, she likes a person in my school, and she wants to know if she should change her looks, her attitude, her style, and her body features to get this guy. Should she really do this to herself over one guy? Is it worth it? If it is worth it, then what are some tips for her and what do guys like? PLEASE HELP!

She shouldn't do it for his sake, no. But if SHE feels that there are things about herself that she could improve, and that would make her feel more secure and attractive, then it's perfectly fine to use her attraction to this guy as the catalyst that starts her on that journey. Sometimes it takes an outside influence to give us the "kick in the butt" we need.
At heart, though, it really needs to be for her own benefit and happiness.

I would say not to change 1 single thing about herself. If this guy can't appreciate her for the person she is - he isn't worth it at all. If she changed everything and he liked her then, she wouldn't be herself at all? Why would anyone want to do that. Maybe she could change her hair style or get a new outfit - but to change her whole personality and her style just to get a guy is silly.

OK...NO she should not change for a guy, but if she thinks that looking a certain way would make her more comfortable, then yes she should change her looks. If it's for the better, why not??? Anyways...you know what guys like...especially that age...blond and pretty, well-dressed, rich and popular. So, that's what she needs to become!!!

It's not worth it. You should never change who you are for anyone. The guy must be shallow if she is doing all of this. So, that means he is a jerk anyhow. If I was her, I would be myself and wait for someone to notice that.

NO don't change yourself for anybody. you will get tired of it and go back to your old self then the other person would be let down or mad or what ever and you the person who changed would be miserable through it all.

even if she gets him, he will dump her later, because initially he was not attracted to her. It will be a daily battle for her to keep him. Why does she need such a bore?
She should wait till there is a guy who likes her already.

its so not worth it because if he really liked her then it would not matter what she looked like... looking good is just a plus. but if he does not like her for her then it would just be a waste of time.

Of course it's not worth it. He should love her for who she is, not someone he wishes she were.

I prefer to be liked for who I am. Your friend should consider this.
