people keep telling me £190 or £200 a day + materials + second man if needed. is this over the top or what. please help

thats about right. but you could get it done for about 100 a day, but you get what you pay for. if you want a top job, pay top money.

Depends where you are,

In the North of England its cheaper, in teh south its expensive:

you have to charge by the size of teh job, or else, its difficult for the client and you!

this helps the client, and puts his confidence in you!

yes 200 a day is ove rthe top, in the soith its £150 - £200,

i would just give an estimate of teh job, so you have the opportunity to take breaks and do other things, and can take breathers, also the client knows the job will be done under that amount!

If the licnet needs it urgently then go for days: £170, undercut other plasters, kepp the quality and second skim good ok!

If you are self employed then £200 a day is reasonable.
By the time you have paid out,for your vehicle running costs,your tax and national insurance,business insurance, telephone, advertising and all the other associated expenses with running a business, then there is not a lot left of your £200 for your wages.

Thats a bit steep but depends where you live i suppose. Bout £120-£150 p/day plus materials plus £50 daily for 2nd man....Hope that helps

It depends on how many hours are in the day ,but for a average day it is way over the top

it cost me £100 for my ceiling to be done but some wanted to charge me up to £500 (i live in lincoln)
