Time and cream, it will take some time mine is almost unnoticiable 20 months after my 3rd. i did not give it enough time to heal properly between children the doc said or it would have been lighter sooner. Tankini bathing suits are wonderful until the scar fades. use any kind of moisturizing cream but palmers cocoa butter works best. Congrats on the baby!

I know this option is not something you may have thought of before, but you might be able to go to a plastic surgeon to get it fixed. Also, insurance should cover something like this, they may say at first that they won't. But don't stop there, send in pictures of your scar and write a letter on the health risks involved in keeping the scar (both mentally and physically). If you keep on bothering your insurance company about this they will eventually give in. Good luck and stay persistent!

Scarfade (Great Cream. Best on the market)
www.scarfade.com
Laser Surgery (might make scar bigger)
Steroid injection (expensive but most proven method)
I've tried all & I have to say,Steroid injections were the best thing I ever did.The scar is totally gone
Good-luck.
