I didn't give her anything.
I've thought she was white trash from the beginning.
She wanted to be there in the first place, now didn't she?

Well, bad news sells much better than good news. Let's look at Christina Aguilera. She's married, apparently doing well, and just released a moderately successful new album. She also became famous at the same time as Britney Spears, and, for a short time, received more gossip than Britney when she turned into "X-Tina". However, if anything, she seems to be perfectly sane, sober, and, according to the tabloids, boring. In my opinion, some of Britney's earlier stunts, i.e. the 56 hour marriage, were her trying to find herself and maybe get some attention. Now, however, she's become an attention grabbing monster. I believe that, along with some post-partum depression that she took the wrong drugs for, her need to perform and get attention from the press has driven her to where she is now. Now, as a society, did we write the articles and take the photos? No. But, somebody did buy the magazines. Somebody did watch the entertainment "news" shows. Somebody surfed the net looking for the infamous crotch shots. Even though Spears does have some partial blame here, there is a question to be asked: Who is this great enemy to Britney Spears' privacy? Folks, I have seen the enemy, and it is us.

You know what, Paparazzi needs to be calmed down in today's society. Most of the people I know could care less about the celeb magazines and stuff; so no, it's now our fault. Paparazzi have gone too far so many times in the last few years that it's unbelievable. When are people (society, cops, law makers) going to say enough is enough. Don't you think Princess Diana would still be alive if it wasn't for the HOUNDS chasing her trying to get a picture? What about Anna Nicole Smith? She was depressed over her son's death; but the Paparazzi didn't care. They just kept right on hounding her. What gives them the right to do this? It's awful the way the photographers are allowed to stalk and harass these people. If it was me or you, we would be in jail! Just because a person is a celebrity, doesn't mean that they forfeit the right to have a little privacy and respect.

Although Britney Spears, and all of those in the limelight, are a social extension of our life, it is up to the individual to keep there self in control. Some Stars are able to shrug off negative remarks made by us and the Media.
It would be horrifying at times having the shutter-bugs stalking her or anyone for that matter. It has got to be nerve racking. One false move an Bam!!, your in the tabloids.
Are WE responsible? No, not for her drug addiction, I know some people that eat pills smoke, and are going down hill. I am not responsible. They are. But I lend an ear and baby them.
Britney just needs help now. We, can say a prayer for her, send her cards for encouragement. Just like you would a friend.
As stated above, Britney is an extension of our life socially speaking. But not accountable, for her personal, problems.

Celebrities sign that imaginary contract that says they leave themselves wide open when they become famous. Did we push her to marry K-Fed, I think not, she is an adult and has made her own decisions. Did we stand over her when she was shaving her head or getting pregnant? NO
I seriously don't think the public as a whole caused her parents to divorce, things happen.
I am not taking any blame for her wrong doings and neither should anybody else other than Britney. She made her bed and now she must lie in it.

I think that the paparazzi can contribute to her downfall b/c of all their explicit lies, and yes, people are too hard on celebrities and we can actually hurt them, if not just their reputation..but Britney Spears wanted to be famous so she shouldn't blame the fans for anything b/c that's the price you have to pay for fame, along with all the perks such as being given special treatment just cause you're who you are and being ridiculously filthy rich and overpaid.

WE didn't make her decisions for her. WE didnt make her party with paris and take who knows what illegal substance. I think most people (society) even tried to prevent her from marrying kfed (the beginning of her fall).
Fame is a double-edged sword but the famous only want the good and woe-is-me when the bad happens. Dont get me wrong - I feel bad for brit but WE are not accountable

NO!!!!
She wanted to be famous. Her parents wanted her to be famous. They knew what fame brings, including the paparazzi, the spotlight, drugs, sex, etc...
If somebody must be held responsable it's her parents, for letting her become a singer at such young age.
She made bad decitions out of lack of common sense! Like marrying a man who left his PREGNANT gf for her! (didn't she think he'd do the same thing to her?)
She did dumb things, and actually, some harmful things with her son, like driving with him on her lap!!! If that'd been me, I'D BE IN JAIL NOW, but cause she's a "celebrity", nothing happened to her...
I don't agree with anyone being "humiliated" by somebody else, but she KNEW she was gonna have people watching her every move for the simple fact of being "famous"; she shouldn't have done the things she did, like getting drunk and such. She made an embarrasment of herself, we didn't, we didn't tell her to get drunk and go partying pantyless with Paris...
Yes, probably she wouldn't be in rehab had she not been famous, but... she wanted to be famous, it was HER choice.

I'm not accountable for anything anyone else does. Her life choices, good or bad, are just that: Hers.
Maybe fame has created issues in her life, but you need to remember that no one went to her door, held a gun to her head and said "You must become a teen idol!" These were choices that she and her parents made. Unfortunately they're having to learn the hard lesson that choices have consequences. You choose to seek fame and fortune, you have the consequence of dealing with the press and the paparazzi. You choose to use drugs and alcohol to deal with the pressures associated with fame, you end up burning out and in rehab.

its all just a publicity stunt, also people were talking about how she was not fit to be a mother, and also the pic's of her and Paris Hilton. so she has all this going on and then she decides to blame it on drugs and alchol to escape being blamed for her actions, so she decides to shave her head to make it look like she needs help. Alot of celebs think they can do this kind of stuff for example (mel gibson driving drunk, or like the miss nevada or w/e) they think they can do this because there famous but they can't, people need to be responsible of there own actions, take some personal responsibitly in your lifes.
does anyone else agree with me on this?

No, she is an adult and she makes her own decision. I would have to agree that she is doing all of this for attention. Britney obviously needs to crave attention, look at the reality show she did with Kevin and her wedding, and now this!!!! WE are not responsible for her freak show. She needs to grow the **** up!!!
