I kept it in a suitcase and when i opened it , it was a mess. How do i iron out the wrinkles. I tried to keep a cotton cloth on top and iron it with a steam iron, but did not help much. Any other creative ideas?

You don't. Leather ages and wrinkles naturally. The more wrinkles the older the leather and the cooler it looks. If you want a "clean" look , get a vinyl jacket like the other posers.

Hang it in the bathroom while you take a hot, steamy shower.

If the wrinkles don't steam out by themselves, gently iron the garment at a warm setting after layering clean brown paper between the iron and the leather. (Note: be careful of grocery bags; the ink can transfer, and some have a coating)

try ironing from the inside instead of directly on the leather and use a damp towel to add extra steam.

try putting your leather jacket on a hanger and the go over it with a warm hair dryer this seems to do the trick.

If it's real leather, try rubbing it with mink oil. That should soften it up and make the rinkles fall out.
