I am in college to be a zookeeper. I love animals and I want to take care of them, regardless of the pay. But I haven't yet been able to even find out what the pay IS. I am not going in to zookeeping for the money, but am just curious as to what the salary is.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado starts keepers at minimum.

If they paid more to get qualified people like you are soon to be, perhaps CMZ could improve they're reputation -- now they have careless keepers and shoddy animal husbandry.
