Here in like a month, or so i'm going to get a new cell phone. I already have a pay as you go phone and i've been looking at the Cingular GoPhones. Now with the GoPhone, is it like a Tracfone where you get the min's, then after awhile you have to refill the min's to be able to use it? I read on Cingulars web site that you get the card wich could be $25, $30, $45, and so on. Once you get the card, depending on wich one you get it saids that they can last up to like a month, to three months, so my question is for all of this is, do you get x amount of min's, or that the card that you have last up to the end of that date that it gives you to?

Actually, Cingular's only prepaid plan doesn't involve just buying a card. You have two options, prepaid cards or a prepaid plan.

With the prepaid card, there are two options:

1. a 1 dollar daily access fee and ten cents a minute
2. no access fee per day, but all calls are 25 cents per minute

With the pay as you go plans (work the same as a regular contract plan, but without the contract) you have four option - starting at $29.99 a month for up to 200 minutes to $69.99 a month for up to 650 minutes. The two highest cost plans also have unlimited nights and weekends and the highest cost plan also has unlimited Mobile to Mobile minutes.

Ok let me first start out telling you that a $15 card expires in 1 month a $25 card expires in 3 months and a $100 card expires in 1 year. Now as long as you buy another card whatever balance you had left after that time rolls over. You do not get unlimited calling for that time period, you have to choose one of two plans. Either the simple plan which is .25 cents a minute all the time or the Unlimited talk plan that takes $1 a day off the card on days you use the phone and is free mobile 2 mobile between all Cingular customers and .10 to all customers that are not Cingular.

The go phone has two options. $.99 a day $.10 a minute with unlimited mobile to mobile or $.25 a minute flat.
