The glass is either twice as large as it needs to be.

or

The supply of liquid has run out and we're all going to be very thirsty from now on.

(Seriously, though, I'm a glass half full optimist.)

Well no one can be always positive or negative. When you are talking about American soldiers dead in Iraq I would say be "the glass is empty" side and tell lets get out. But when I am talking about Saddam I would say the glass is half full and lets stay there. But when you compare both its better to be with the glass is half empty point of view.

Sometimes its ok to be negative. A positive person can take negative decisions too for good.

Did it help?

I think the glass is half full. I beleive this because your glass starts out full. So if you do not have all of your wits about you, I think the best statement is that the glass is half full.

It is similar to saying someone is not playing with a full deck.

I filled a glass with milk....I added chocolate powder to it...my glass is half empty but the best is yet to come..the best part..the chocolate...I feel the same way about life. I was given a good life but the first half was a struggle of getting through school and growing up...now I have children and grandchildren and the best is yet to come for even though my life is half over I still have the prospect of living forever under God's kingdom government.
I am truly blessed to have half left....and the promise of much, much more.

The only correct answer is BOTH. If 50% of a glass is full the other 50% has to be empty. Did anyone here study any math at all???

I believe my glass is half full. I say that because inspite of anything that's not so good that has happened and happening in my everyday life, I'm still thankful for everything. Good or bad, they're all lessons that I have to learn.

It really depends on what your putting in it- and is the glass air tight? Is what you're putting in it liquid? If so-What?

If it's plain ol' water, and you started out with a full glass-but then someone- say a sister - asked for a sip then drank half of it. Then I would say it's half empty-- Thanks, Sis!

The Glass is too Big!

If you had a smaller glass it would over flow!

This means to be Grateful for the little things. When you are grateful for what you already have then you will receive more. If your not happy with what you have you will never receive more!

First ,you have to think as you read the question. The simple answer is; Optimist, half full, Pessimist, half empty. Personally, I use cups.
