The BBC adaptation of Pride & Prejudice was really great and Colin Firth did well in it and had the right haughtiness about him, but he was a little too old to play the part in my opinion (actually all of the actors seemed too old) so that is one thing the film version did well - having the characters played by actors of the similar age.
Matthew McFayden was cuter and younger than Firth but didn't play the part nearly as well and I don't think he was given the best direction in it.
Erm so I don't know... Sorry

Depends on what mood I'm in, and I think I've seen the Colin Firth one about 100 more times, just because it's been out a lot longer.

I prefered the BBC version (Colin Firth) to the other one. I know it's longer, but I thought Colin Firth was very good-looking
