The toy was usually red and the discs went in on an insert at the top of the glasses. There was also a yellow lever that you would pull to change the turn the disc and change the picture

I love those things!! They still have them ~ but they aren't as good as the originals. I remember how there would be ones that would tell you stories or take you on adventures in the wilderness.

That would be the View Master Viewer! I had one of those when I was a child and I loved it. They have branched out now and you can buy View Master Binoculars and View Master Projectors that use a light to project the pictures on your wall. I still like the original the best!
