I want to get laser hair removal on my entire bikini area, like a sphinx wax (I think that is what they are called! Or brazillian but 100% bare!). Has anyone done this? If so, how many visits did it take to get the job done, did it hurt, how much was your total cost, etc... I really want to get this done! I am in the St. Louis area, so if anyone who answers is from around here, and good doctor reconmendations? Thanks for any help! Oh, and I am VERY fair complected with black hair, so I think I would be a good candidate from the research I have done!

You are right about being a good candidate, plus the bikini area is the easiest area to get good results because of the depth of the follicle. Price will be somewhat dependent on multiple factors but you can expect to pay over $1K for all of your treatments.

There is also a do-it-yourself laser hair removal system called Rio. It was designed and safety tested in the U.K and has a CE safety mark.
It uses a safe 808nm diverging laser and costs much less than salon treatments. The laser isn't as powerful as a salon machine and more treatments are required but the results are the same - permanent hair loss.
If you don't mind paying a lot more then salon treatments are more convenient, but if you're on a budget then the Rio is hard to beat.
