First, brush them off with a toothbrush. Then use some tarnish remover and let it soak for a couple of hours, or better still, use some Brasso or a similar product and rub with a clean, dust-free rag. Before you know it, it will be like brand new!

why dont you take them to a jewelry store? Or, you can take soap and water, and bring it to a light simmering boil, and throw your jewelry in there. Then take them out in about a minute to rinse. Do not let it boil on high temperature....This is important...Or if you want, just bring it to a boil,...then turn the heat down to a light light boil, then then throw your jewelry in. Use an old toothbrush to scrape off dirt and stuff....

Try lemon juice or white vinegar its cheaper!! And more friendly and to anyone else it cleans most things. Watch How Clean Is Your House. Their GREAT!!

try jewelry cleaner, and not to pick but boiling water is boiling water, slow boil or rolling boil is still 212 degrees. any hotter and it turns to steam and leaves the pan. unless you have a pressure cooker. just in case you wanted to know...

I use toothpaste it gets them very clean and makes it shine like they were new.Use an extra toothbrush just for this and scrub w/ toothpaste and rinse well.
