Seriously, do think you could cheat and still feel the same about your spouse? Since I think everyone at one time or another thinks about cheating, what if you acted on it? Is there a proper way to cheat?

In my view there is one way when seeking sexual (or emotional) satisfaction outside your marriage is acceptable: If your spouse is sexually and emotionally unavailable, and you have unsuccessfully exhausted all efforts to try to remedy the situation. In this case, both parties should bare their share of the responsibility.

Such rules shouldn't be made by society, but rather by each couple, and other people should refrain from judgment of any couple who find themselves involved in such an issue, unless they are intimately aware of the facts, and most are not, but rather believe one side or the other, and then what they may know may not necessarily be the truth.

I think Americans are extremely puritanical when it comes to their overall attitudes about sex. This is the 21st Century and we should be more openminded when it comes to something that is just as natural as eating or sleeping. So you wonder why there is so much sexual deviancy in the US?

Nowhere else in the world are there more people incarcerated because of crimes involving sex as there are in the US. Other countries do have more openminded attitudes towards sex.

No.

If you read in the Bible I Corinthians 13 "The Love Chapter" where it says that love is patient and kind and seeks not its own way at the expense of others. It isn't boastful or proud and delights in what is right. This love is such that it will gladly give its own life to save the life of another. It says that of faith, hope and love that the greatest is love. If one has this kind of love, while he/she may be tempted to cheat, he/she never will. My wife and I have been married for over 28 years and while we have have had opportunities to cheat, neither one of us has because we are practicing what true love is.

You are going to see people who you are physically attracted to throughout your marriage. How you act will determine if your marriage lasts. IF you act on those impulses, you are going to throw away the person you made vows with. The person you say you love. The person you have kids with. So, the answer to your question....NO! There is no proper way to cheat.
