the doctor could not give me a answer they are not sure what it is they took samples and everything they thought i was for sure in labor and when they did an exam and the strip my water was not broke. they told me to wait 24-48 hours and if problem still persisted to come back in . i was just wandering if anyone else has experienced this.

Sounds like discharge. Lots of discharge in many forms is common in pregnancy. LOL! As long as it isn't green, smells funny, or accompanied by itching, burning, or contractions then it's fine. Good Luck!

Wow...people are just being a**holes on here today!!!Darling...you have every right to ask whatever question you want on here...the amount of crazy questions is so high...why shouldn't you be able to ask anything you want!!!

I am 34 weeks pregnant too, and went in to Labor and Delivery on Friday bc I was having a ton of discharge. They did all the tests and said it was not amniotic fluid. I too...still felt like it was a lot more dischrage than I have normally had. They said that towards the end it may change and look different, and could be a lot more!!!

Also...the pressure is probably more from your bladder than from anything else. I get it bad when he moves and puts his big head right on it!!! I will actually leak a little urine bc of it...and that too can make you think water breaking. It is normal, and you are going along just fine!!!

If you are completely closed, and your cervix is thick (I am wondering how thick and long)...then you are in the clear. I would say you still have a while before little baby wants to come.

I know you are ready!!! I AM DEF. READY!!! I have been walking everyday trying to get this little one going!!!

Good luck, and if you wanna chat please feel free to email me at MaryCatherine26@yahoo.com.

I would say if you have checked with your doctor then there is no need to worry.... I would have guessed it was your water leaking but if your cervix is still closed I dont know what to tell you, just keep an eye on it and if in doubt go to the er.

Its probably just a discharge My daughter had the same thing happen to her last mon. evening. he did a strip and it wasn't her water breaking or leaking and everything turned out fine now. the discharge is gone by the way she is 37 weeks

how many times have you been pregnant, and how many children do you have? at 34 weeks if you have this kind of discharge (and a significan amount of course at least a few towels worth), make your preparations to have your baby!! not right this second of course! but if this is your first preg then it may be up to 12-maybe even 18 hours before this turns into contractions and birth time. but the more times you've been pregggooo the less time between now and full signs of labor.

If this is for real, why would you ask something like that on this forum? If your Doc said it was nothing, go to another Doctor, jeez!
