Well of course you are going to lose weight after having a baby...I am confused on what you are asking. It happens to everyone. Eating a high protein diet will help you gain weight though.

It is normal to lose weight after giving birth besides the baby weight and excess fluids your body will get rid of. After the birth of my oldest daughter I lost 40 pounds - I only gained 22 during pregnancy. I realized I was so tired from taking care of her and adjusting to be being a new mom I wasn't eating normally and lost a bunch of weight. I would take a look at what you are eating and if you are eating on a regular basis. That might have something to do with it. As for putting the weight back on, I can't help you other than to say eat more. Sorry, that's pretty lame but that's all I got right now. LOL

I weighed about 30lbs less after I gave birth than before I got pregnant. This put me at my ideal weight, sadly I gained it back after 6 months.
Eat well, eat lots of protein, and take care of yourself and you should acheive and maintain a healthy weight for you, whatever that is. Some women's metabolism and optimal weights change after birth.
Eat poorly, skip meals, and don't sleep and you'll end up not feeling well and either overweight (like me) or underweight -like my mom for years.

1st off you should feel lucky. most women would kill to lose weight, I lost about 40 lbs after my daughter was born. Obviuosly a dramatic weight loss in a short period of time is not healthy. but you should be alright.
