If this vaccination turns out to be as wonderful as it promises, I hope it's mandatory for all women. Thousands of women die every year from cervical cancer and if this vaccine can prevent even just one of those deaths, it's worth it.

Granted, more research is needed to know the full effects of Gardasil but so far studies are promising. I just wish someone would find a vaccination for other cancers, like the ovarian cancer my mom was diagnosed with last summer. She went through the chemo and surgery and everything and she's cancer free now but imagine if it could've been stopped before it even started with a simple shot.

I hope not.

They have not studied the long term affects well enough to make it mandatory like they've stated in newcasts for me to take any female to get that vaccination.

im not sure. but i got it when i got all my other shots.[gardasil]
