I tried what the PS3 website suggested (touching the eject button for longer than 10 seconds) and it didn't work. It's also beeping and flashing red and blue lights.

First of all Remember if it's a PS2 PS or PS3 game.If it's not then your busted and have no chance whatsoever of getting it out.OH and movies and CD's are ok as well but if it's like a XBox or Gamecube then your screwed. To get it out if it is a Regular Playstation Game if the open close disk tray button doesn't work,Check the warranty on the PS3.If iut hasn't expired yet then take it back to the place you got it and get a new one.And if you'r wondering about the game you'll have to buy it again unless the store gets the original out.

I don't know if it is similar to CDROM drives in PCs, but if they are then find a small paper clip, straighten it out, and look for a very small hole on the face of the drive. Insert the straightened paper clip in that hole and push with a little force-- it will force open the drive enough to pull it out.
