It's lss expensive. I am from NJ but have lived in SC - the weather is great, there are things to do and places to see - any kind of food you can imagine is available crime was low. Now, I am in southeastern CT and it royally sucks. The weather is dismal, the summers are weak, and all i've ben recommended so far are the bars and the casinos (i'm not interested) - there are a few places to hike and fish - however you can't swim or eat the fish you catch b/c of the toxins. I'm actually looking into movign back to SC. Oh and by the way, CT is way overpriced for poor quality. Even what people around here consider 'good quality' is cheap.

LOL Vlado has it down pat. Ive lived in the south for most of my life, but am totally in love with New England. It is warmer here, cheaper here - and we don't have NYC, Boston, DC, Maine...all the good parts of the US!!! It just seems like there are more options in New England - as far as weekend trips, culture, restaurants, etc.

it`s ok, boring, cheap, less fun, warm and dry, with a lot of tornados.
