Maybe for a quick one, but long term she's likely to grow up and lot and change more than you would...?
My bf is 37 and i'm 27, and so far so good (four years). I think certain things change you, like if i had gone through uni and been with him it might have been difficult (but i met him after).

Well I don't think age is a big factor at least not to some people. If she feels the same about you I don't see the harm in having dinner or something simple. She is of age and legally an adult.Ask her what she thinks and accept any answer she gives you. I married at 16 and I'm 50 now. My husband was 7 years older. We will celebrate our 35 anniversary this year. All relationship's have a chance if both partners are committed.

Sir, if it really is love, then you shouldn't have a problem or be confused. Read in the Bible, I Corinthians 13 "The Love Chapter" where it says love is patient and kind and seeks not its own way at the expense of others. It isn't boastful or proud and delights in what is right. It is such that if you truly love someone you will gladly give up your life to save their life. If you both can live by this standard, age shouldn't be a factor. I know of a man who married a woman 20 years younger than he is and they seem to be doing fine with children growing like weeds many years later.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with an age gap, its all about the way you feel. If you like this girl then go for it, but be aware of how old she is meaning she may be too immature for you or like things that you don't. Age is just a number, you never know, she may be the girl for you! You shouldn't care what other people think of the situation, it's your life, you live it how you want to. Good luck with it and I really hope all goes well x

My partner is only 8 yrs older than me but when we first started going out i was barely legal. My family esp my brothers were dead against it and wanted to kill my partner, now 5 yrs on we are getting married in the summer. I think if you flirt with her a little you will soon know if you are overstepping the mark. Be careful though as I'm sure you know that not everyone will be ok about it, good luck x

I wouldn't ask her out, just wait until she says or does something because it you make the first move you may regret it when you meet her parents or someone and they ask who made the first move and if you say you it comes across as a bit seedy, I don't think once and if you get together age will be an issue just have a little patience.. Good Luck

Let's be real. The real reason you want someone that young is because you think you can mold her into what you want. This never works. Go with that and she will be cheating on you with a 20 year old in no time. She need someone she can grow WITH!!! You are old enough to be her father!!! Got daughters? Would you want them to be with a nasty old man fresh out of highschool?

I definitely feel age difference is important when it comes to ME anyway....
I needed to marry an older guy due to the men my own age having their heads up their a$ses. I couldn't, still today think of myself with someone my age... they are so damn immature and stupid with money. It would take a man quite extraordinary to impress me if he was my age.
I say go for it and see if she likes you... You will not know unless you try, if it was the right thing to go after.

age is not a problem with me if I met a younger guy and we got on then I would be happy. take no notice of what people think ask her out and leave it up to her. If she thinks your much to old for her she'll tell you herself. after all it is only you and her that matter. Hope everything goes well for you.
