Water will drain downhill/slope in both the northern and southern hemisphere due to gravity. There is no correlation between direction of water draining down a plug hole and the Coriolis effect.

The direction draining water turns is NOT determined by whether your north or south of Equator. This website explains the whole thing ==>http://www.badastronomy.com/bad/misc/coriolis.html

There is no such thing as the "north equator". There is no south equator, or east or west, either. There's just one - THE equator.

If you mean, "Which way was water drain north of the equator", the answer is "downhill".
