i want to visit dubai in future with my passport...

Technically Yes...you need a visa to enter UAE. But you can get this visa upon arrival on presenting your US passport at any Airport provided that your passport will remain valid for three months from the completion of your intended visit to UAE.

Of course yes.
Americans require visa for entry into every country except Canada where you are required to have a passport only.
American passport does not guarantee entry to anywhere,except inside US states (50).

no you dont need a visa to enter dubai , my self i got the visa stamped to my american passport at dubai air port at no cost, last tuesday.

no you don,t need a visa ,you will get 1 in the port of entry in Dubai or any other city in UAE .

I think the only countries you could enter without a visa are Canada and Mexico - then only the border cities.

visa not required for US pasport holders.
just make sure u have enough validity for ur other travel documents including return ticket.
