I like some of their songs. I don´t know many people who dislike them, so I´m wondering, how many of you really hate them and why.

I loved them back in the 80's - saw them on the Joshua Tree tour 3 times. But that was the last album of theirs I ever listened to because they were so overplayed on the radio I just haven't been interested in hearing Bono sing again.

My husband and i CAN NOT STAND u2! I do like 1 song of theirs and that is it!! For the simple fact that the anti war bull crap, Like the video about katrina (the saints are comeing) more less telling us that they should have pulled our men out of the middle of the war and sent them of to new orleans.. Ok lets come down to reality bono just for 1 second...He is all about doing things to help well what about the thousands of people adults and children who died in 911 which brought the war on r u saying who gives a crap if george bush wouldnt have sent our men over there trust me they would have been back over here blowing us up again.. So bono and greenday need to shut the hell up.. i really believe he does alot of the things he does for the publicity and not out of the kindness of his heart.

The people who don't like U2 don't like really popular bands. Some people don't like bands who get too much hype.
U2 was worth their hype early. Lately they haven't quite lived up.

I loved U2 in the 1980's. But to be honest, I've just gotten sick of Bono. Plus their music isn't as groundbreaking as it was back then.

Overplayed, there is just so much more interesting music out there and U2 doesn't live up to their hype.

i don't really like them. i mean a few of their songs are ok, but i find them annoying. since they are such a popular band, they're everywhere, always in your face. if i didn't see them on tv every other day maybe i would like them more.
