I kept those papers in my major that I could expand for future classes. I am not advocating recycling papers, just using them as the start of a lit review or source of ideas for another paper. I only kept papers outside my major of which I was extremely proud and might enjoy reading again when I was old and gray and reminiscing about my halcyon days in college. If you keep everything, you will get crushed under the weight of the paper.

Anything you have on those papers will be in your textbook or another book on that subject. If you REALLY want to keep the information, scan them to a CD. If it's just the papers themselves you want to keep, then laminate them to keep them from tearing and blurring.

I had no need to keep them, unless the teacher made applicable notes that were helpful, and in that case I added them to the electronic file.
