A sway bar connects from one control arm to the other and is designed to prevent or reduce body roll in turns. It has absolutely nothing to do with the alignment and will not change or affect the alignment in any way!
I can't believe how many people claim to be "Mechanics" that don't know even the most basic stuff.

Yes and no. Since the sway bar is only connected to the front suspension by flexible links it really does not affect front end alignment. However to argue the yes case, it is a good practice to always align the front end when replacing component just to ensure that everything id right.

Absolutely not! The sway or anti roll bar is a torsion bar of sorts that's bolted to each side of the sub- frame of your car with a U shaped bracket and a rubber or hardened anti friction grommet in the center encompassing the sway bar. The ends of the bar are attached to either your struts or your lower A frame with a link. It has nothing to do with the alignment of a car. The sway or anti-roll bar only works as you turn a corner to keep the car 's suspension and car body a flat as possible. It reduces body roll when turning the car.

No you DO NOT need to have the vehicle aligned if you installed a swaybar. If you removed other components such as tierods or a-arms, then yes.

It concerns on what component of alignment replaced into not available. according to danger this is basically undesirable front end aspects. choose extra info to respond to extra advantageous.

The sway bar has nothing to do with alignment. These halfwits would probably tell you to get an alignment if you emptied the ashtray.
